All of them are fun. Necromancer is arguably the weakest one, but its totally viable. Rift Mage letsyou apply debuffs and do combos and pretty much be a perma caster. Basically you hit hard and frequently. Necromaner focuses on Damage over time, it can pull off pretty good sustainable damage but it doesn´t do as much damage as the RIft Mage.

This will require you to gather materials from all over Thedas and use the requisition table to "create" and item and get the specialization. It appears very close to the Skyhold icon on the WT.
